1956   Foundation, Mr. R. Elsaesser (1922), Kirchberg
     
1963   Start of automatic production
     
1975   Construction of a new building in the Industrial Estate Neuhof, Kirchberg
     
1986   Mr. R. Elsaesser (1951) takes over as Managing director
     
1995   Obtains SQS-ISO 9001 Certificate
     
2000   Introduction of process organisation
Start-up of 4th flexo print machine
     
2001   Mr. H. Häberli takes over as managing director
     
2005   Obtains BRC-IoP Certificate
Construction of a curing hall in Kirchberg
Start-up of new lamination line in Kirchberg
     
2006   Jubilee 50 years
     
2009   New construction with an additional 1000 pallet spaces, safety stock and an improved hygiene area.

Start-up of a new triplex lamination lin
     
2010   Putting in to service a new slitting machine with turret winder
     
2011   Installation of the new latest technology 10 colour print press (Fischer & Krecke) equipped with a GPS-system.

Start-up of the new catalytic exhaust air cleaning unit for cleaning the processed air from production.

Agreement with Robert Elsaesser to merge with AMPAC HOLDINGS LLC. From July 1st, 2011, ELAG Verpackungen AG is part of the AMPAC group. The ELAG site in Kirchberg will remain as it has been in the past, the operational business as well as all employees have been taken over.
